I have had to fence myself in. There is just too much out there, too much possibility, and I can’t live with the prospect that I might have put myself in the wrong box. That’s what we need to do, isn’t it? That’s what society is all about? Putting yourself in a box? For me, I already know the dimensions of my box. My sexuality, my gender, my political leaning, my social class, my monetary class, my tax bracket, my potential earnings projections for the next ten years, my bdsm-rating, my preferred videogames ranked based on how many hours I have played in them, my favorite movies, my least favorite kinds of music; everything. The dimensions of my box are well defined, and this way I can exist peacefully on the internet. Everything here functions in that way: hashtags, tagging, channels, niches, corners, subreddits, blogs, personal websites, everything. It is all designed so that we have the optimal plan to describe to the fullest exactly who we are, exactly what box we fit into; and I love it. This way, I don’t even have to order anything off amazon, I just hook up my card, sign the consent form with my digital eyeball print (and of course post my #iriscolor), plug in my card details, my address, my physical features, and my average clothing profile and whenever I am within a 1000 meter radius of my house I will automatically recieve packages that I never knew I wanted or needed, but I sure am glad I have now!
